Safety

Several members of the Club are active in the U.S. Cast Guard Auxiliary paddlecraft safety program.  The program influences paddlers to: wear a lifejacket, paddle with a group, learn basic skills, avoid alcohol on the water, and plan with a careful eye to the weather and other environmental conditions.
